Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) has a requirement for the purchase of TPN bags for VAPHS pharmacies. Bags will be ordered individually by a VA pharmacy and then custom-mixed by the selected contractor and delivered to the ordering pharmacy. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is VA-244-121-R-0285 and it is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code is 325412. Proposals are due 2/16/2012 @ 1600. Prepare and transmit them in accordance with the instructions in the solicitation. Please read the entire solicitation. Offerors are responsible for all terms, clauses, and conditions contained therein. The successful offer will be the one that provides the lowest-price, technically-acceptable proposal.
