- THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Any procurement related to this announcement will be published as a separate solicitation in FedBizOpps. This synopsis does not commit the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted in response to this synopsis. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue solicitation# DJD-12-R-0013 for Clandestine laboratory safety certification training in support of DEA's Office of Training. The majority of schools shall be conducted at the DEA Training Academy in Quantico, VA, however, other training sites in the United States may be required to meet the Government's needs. The solicitation is designated for Total Small Business Set-Aside. The anticipated contract type is ID/IQ with Firm Fixed Price task orders. Minimum and maximum quantities and specifications will be listed in the solicitation. The expected period of performance will be for a 12-month base period and four one-year option periods starting June 12, 2012 and ending June 11, 2017. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and ORCA. The DEA plans to issue the solicitation in mid-end February. The solicitation will be issued by electronic posting on www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors shall monitor this website for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. It is the offeror's responsibility to download their own copy of the solicitation and any amendments.
