- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE This is not a solicitation. Specialty Center Acquisitions, NAVFAC, Port Hueneme, CA intends to make a sole source award under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to CUBIC Global Tracking Solutions, Vienna, VA 22182. NAVFAC Engineering Service Center, Port Hueneme, CA has established a requirement to procure an operation demonstration kit along with maintenance, training, and technical assistance from CUBIC Global Tracking Solutions to access the Next Generation Wireless Communication (NGWC) network to enhance current capabilities in communications between security sensors and a secure ad hoc network of low power radios employed in arms, ammunitions, and explosives (AA&E) intermodal transport. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice.
