- Description
- The 36th Contracting Squadron at Andersen AFB, Guam, intends to solicit for the removal of the Air Separation Unit (ASU) capability from Lajes Field, Azores and the installation of additional ASU capability at Andersen AFB, Guam (AAFB). In addition, the contractor shall provide training and manuals to AAFB personnel to enable them to operate, troubleshoot, and conduct recurring maintenance on the ASU System installed at AAFB. The proposed solicitation number FA5240-12-R-0001 will result in a firm-fixed-price contract. This acquisition will be a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 333298 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. A formal request for proposal will be issued on or about 15 Feb 2012 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Any prospective contractor MUST be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. To be considered, responsive offerors must be registered in Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov before submitting an offer. Instructions for registering are available at the CCR website http://www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
