- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE/ADVERTISEMENT VA-262-12-SFO-0390 This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION to lease up to 500 parking spaces. This Announcement and Solicitation for Offer ("SFO") constitute the only solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs ("VA/Government") seeks to lease up to 500 existing parking spaces (covered and or un-covered) to be used by VA's personnel, clients, contractors, and visitors. The Government may consider un-improved site(s) that have the potential to meet the Government's requirement as determined by the Contracting Officer. Lease term is up to 4 years. Parking spaces offered shall be made available for Government use by April 1, 2012. Parking spaces offered must be within a five mile radius from the VA San Diego Medical Center located at 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, California. The Government intends to evaluate offers and may award a contract or multiple contracts without discussions to meet the Government's requirement. In addition to the rental consideration; the Government will also factors in improvements and other related costs, when applicable. Parking spaces offered for consideration must NOT be in the 100 years flood plain and meet all current Federal, State, and local codes and regulations, including, but not limited to fire and life safety, accessibility, and seismic protection as applicable. The Government will pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for the space. Respondents are advised that the Government assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon responses to this announcement.
