- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to obtain airboat aircraft engine repair services on four Lycoming 054 aircraft engines for Invasive Species Management Branch - Operations Division. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, inspections, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation and other items necessary to perform airboat aircraft engine repair services on four Lycoming 054 aircraft engines. Airboat aircraft engine repair service applies to all four Lycoming 054 aircraft engines. The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at the contractor's facility. US Army Corps of Engineers staff will provide delivery of engines to and from the contractor's facility, as long as the facility is within 250 miles of the North Florida Aquatic Plant Control Field Office in Palatka FL. If distance is further than 250 miles from the Field Office, the contractor will be responsible for picking up and delivering the engines. A firm-fixed price commercial item contract is considered for this acquisition. The contract award will be for 45 days (period of performance). This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 336412, Size standard is 1,000 employees. Solicitation W912EP-12-T-0015 will be issued on or about 16 February 2012 and offers will be due on or about 24 February 2012.
