- ***** This presolicitation is amended as follows: The Contractor is to provide delivery of Fresh Fruits & Vegetables (FF&V) and fresh, live potted plants as a drop-ship, or in accordance with DeCAs Guaranteed Sale Potted Plant Program for resale in 44 commissaries located in Area 3, Group 1 (13 Stores) and Group 2 (31 Stores) in Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, Maryland, New Jersey, Maine, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Delaware that are assigned to the Defense Commissary Agencys (DeCA) Eastern Region, Area 3, Group 1 and Group 2 as listed below. Area 3 includes the following areas that are geographically clustered as follows: Group 1 (13 Stores) Crane NSWC, IN (supported by Fort Knox); Fort Campbell, KY; Fort Knox, KY; Great Lakes NTC, IL; Harrison Village, IN; Fort McCoy, WI (supported by Great Lakes); Rock Island Arsenal, IL; Scott AFB, IL; Selfridge ANGB, MI; Wright-Patterson, Richards Gebaru, Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and Whiteman AFB, MO. Group 1: (2 Store Locations without a primary plant supplier) Fort Knox, KY; Scott AFB, IL Group 2 (31 Stores) Aberdeen PG, MD: Andrews AFB, MD; Annapolis NS, MD: ARDEC Picatinny Arsenal, NJ; Bangor ANFB, ME; Bolling AFB, DC; Brunswick NAS, ME: Carlisle Barracks, PA, CE Kelly Support Facility, PA: Dahlgren NSWC, VA; Dover AFB, DE; Fort Belvoir, VA; Fort Detrick, MD; Fort Drum, NY; Fort Hamilton, NY; Fort Meade, MD; Fort Monmouth, NJ; Fort Myer, VA; Hanscom AFB, MA; Lakehurst NAES, NJ; McGuire AFB, NJ; Mitchell Field, NY; New London NSB, CT; Newport NETC, RI; Patuxent River NAS, MD; Portsmouth NNSY, VA; Quantico MCCDC, VA: Scotia NSU, NY; Tobyhanna AD, PA; Walter Reed AMC, MD: and West Point, NY. Group 2: (15 Store Locations without a primary plant supplier) Brunswick NAS, ME; Mitchell Field, NY; Fort Hamilton, NY; Fort Monmouth, NJ; McGuire AFB, NJ; Dahlgren NSWC, VA; Fort. Meade, MD; Andrews AFB, MD; Quantico MCCDC, VA; Fort Belvoir, VA; Fort Myer, VA; Fort Detrick, MD; Tobyhanna AD, PA; ARDEC (Picatinny), and New Jersey. A single solicitation containing the two geographical grouping will be issued. Each group will be independently evaluated and awarded on an all or none basis. The Government will award one or more contracts resulting from this solicitation based on evaluation using the best value, tradeoff procedures. A Requirements Type contract is contemplated. The base period of performance shall commence approximately 01 March 2012 for 24 consecutive months plus three 12-month option periods. The SIC code is 8915 and the NAICS code is 311991 for this requirement with a size standard of 500 employees. The RFP will be released on or about July 09, 2011. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set aside.
