Description

This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The VAMC Hampton, Virginia, has the need for the following dental services which is not all inclusive of the service requirements of the Dental Service at VAMC Hampton. The contractor shall provide laboratory support including removable prosthodontic laboratory work. VAMC Hampton Dentists will provide legible dental service prescriptions. Contractor shall provide the following dental laboratory services to the VA Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia 1.Complete dentures (including bite rims, set-up, process and finish) 2.Cast Partial dentures (including frameworks, bite rims, set-up, process and finish) 3.Acrylic Partial dentures 4.Hybrid Cast/Flexible partial dentures 5.Complete and partial denture repair 6.Complete and partial denture relines and rebases 7.Thermoplastic nightguards 8.Flexible (Valplast Type) partial dentures 9.Swing lok-type partial 10.Surgical stents 11.ID dentures and partials 12.Implant bar overdenture 13.Precision cast retentive bars 14.Precision and semi-precision attachments 15.Fluoride application trays The contractor shall provide all materials and supplies necessary to complete each item. Acceptable supplies for removable prosthodontics include: : type III gold, noble metals, Lucitone 199 denture acrylic, Ivocap Injectable Acrylic Resin or equivalent and Trubyte IPN or equivalent denture teeth.
