- SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INSTALLATION OF STAND ALONE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS CONTRACT INFORMATION THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This Sources Sought Announcement is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Solicitation. The intent of this sources sought announcement is as follows: The Government is researching to identify potential qualified 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Small Business (SB) offerors to install stand alone electrical vehicle chargers on approximately 5 Naval Bases across the continental United States. The stand alone electric vehicle chargers should number between 10 to 15 chargers per site. The Contractor will need to provide electric vehicle charging stations that meet specifications. The specifications will include the requirement for two level II chargers and one level one charger on each charging station provided. The specifications will also include cellular internet access and web based tracking/metering and control. This contract will require coordination with personnel from NAVFAC Engineering Service Center (ESC) in Port Hueneme, CA, and with personnel from each of the bases across the United States. The contract will also require the contractor to be on multiple bases simultaneously for site visits, construction, and installation. The contract will also require engineering drawings of the project. INTERESTED SOURCES SHOULD RESPOND WITH INFORMATION SHOWING EXPERIENCE WITH ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING TECHNOLOGY AND CAPABILITY TO EXECUTE WORK ACROSS THE UNITED STATES IN A TIMELY MANNER. Also, please complete the attached Questionnaire by providing the firm ™s identifying information, Small Business Status, and experience with mobilizing, resourcing and managing varying workloads of response actions at multiple sites simultaneously worldwide. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR TO ULTIMATELY AWARD A CONTRACT.
