- The purpose of this requirement is to seek qualified contractors to perform Janitorial Services for the Federal Aviation Administration at the Augusta, GA Air Traffic Control Tower Bldg.(ATCT) & Technical Operations Bldg. located in Augusta, Georgia.The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance is estimated to begin on/or about April 1 2012, for a base period of twelve (12) months with four (4) one year option periods. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720, the size standard is: $16.5 Million In accordance with AMS Clause 3.2.2.3-63 Site Visit (April 1996), Prospective offerors are urged to inspect the site where the services are to be performed. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a dispute after contract award. Point of Contact for the site visit: John R. Rodriguez @ 803-822-4420. Offers are due no later than 2:00 p.m. local time (Eastern Standard Time), March 8, 2012. Wargo, AAQ-510Atl1701 Columbia Avenue, College Park GA. 30337 The offer must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled as follows: Solicitation # DTFAEN-12-R-00035, due March 8, 2012 - 2:00 p.m. EST. Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to consider allowing sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at the FAA Southern Region Office. Overnight delivery of responses to this RFP may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Office. Electronic Offers in response to this solicitation can be submitted in accordance with the below clause: 3.2.2.3-20 Electronic Offers (July 2004) (a) The offeror (you) may submit responses to this SIR by the following electronic means (E-Mail). Your offer must arrive at the place and by the time specified in the RFP.
