Description
The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor, product, equipment, materials, and supervision for the demolition and installation associated with the Roof Overlay and Replacement Project at Portland (PDX) Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) located in Portland, Oregon. "Demolition" includes but is not limited to the removal of all waste material on site that would compromise any installation materials. "Installation" includes but is not limited to re-grading all surfaces so water can flow toward disposal areas and lining them with a polyurea surface. Prior to "installation," all of the equipment and material shall be reviewed and accepted by a FAA representative, and when specifically possible, the RE. Award will be made in accordance with the TIERED SELECTION method of source selection. Please see Section L&M for more details. In effect, every interested bidder is welcomed to submit an offer. Preference will be given to certain sized businesses. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
