Description
Data Fusion (DF), Cross Domain Solution (CDS) and User Defined Operational Picture (UDOP) INDUSTRY DAY The purpose of the Industry Day is to assist with the Development Planning for Data Fusion (DF), Cross Domain Solution (CDS) and User Defined Operational Picture (UDOP) in support of the 624 Operations Center. The 624 OC requires full spectrum situational awareness of both kinetic and cyber space to effectively exercise command and control of cyber forces to support Air Force and Joint missions. In order to provide meaningful information that will enhance situational awareness, discrete variables are needed to be individually considered for correlation, aggregation, or other forms of analysis that will reduce the cognitive burden of operators and facilitate effective course of action (COA) development and decision making for classified and unclassified information. The Industry Day will be held in the MITRE Facility, Bedford, MA 01730. Specifics are provided in following paragraphs: 1. CONFERENCE: The conference will take place on 13-14 March 2012 from 0730 - 1800 hours (EDT) at the MITRE Facility, Bedford, MA 01730. The conference will be UNCLASSIFIED. Due to space limitations, attendance is limited to no more than four (4) representatives per company. Companies/individuals must convey interest, POC and the names of individual(s) attending no later than 12:00 PM (EST) 27 February 2012. MASS BRIEFING: The Capability Planning Division will give a mass briefing to all registrants regarding the DF, CDS and UDOP Development Planning effort beginning at 0800 on BOTH days. The mass briefing will be the same on both days; therefore there is only a need to attend one day. 3. ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS: The Capability Planning Division will entertain separate 30 minute one-on-one sessions. If you would like to discuss all three topics (UDOP, DF, and CDS) you will have to do so within 30 minutes. Due to time constraints, we have to stick to the scheduled 30 minutes. The sessions will be held between 0930-1800 hours, on 13 & 14 March 2012. Interested parties must reserve a time slot. Time slots are on a first-come, first-reserved basis. Reservations must be made by 1200 hours ET, 27 February 2012 via the email address above. Please provide a primary time slot request and two alternate time slots. A confirmation e-mail with an information package will be sent once your slot has been confirmed. The audience will be government leadership, cyber engineers and program management leaders. Please bring all materials needed for your respective sessions. 4. This industry day is in addition to any published requests for information with the same subject matter. 6. SPECIAL NOTE: This is not a request for proposal, request for quotation, or invitation for bid, nor does its issuance obligate or restrict the Government to an eventual acquisition approach. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of any responses or pay for the preparation of any information submitted or use of such information. All information received will be used for planning and market research purposes only. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Responses will not be returned
