- The Government intends to issue a SOLE SOURCE SOLICITATION toSatellink Inc. on or about 15 March 2012 with a closing date of 16 April2012 for the repair of the B-52 Electronic Amplifier. Upon issuance ofthe solicitation, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal orquotation which shall be considered by the agency. This notice ofintent does not in itself represent the issuing of a formal request forproposal and is not intended to be taken as such. The requirements setforth in this notice are defined per PR FD2030-12-36109 as follow: 1. this is a repair requirement. The contractor shall provide all thenecessary materials, labor and equipment required to completedisassembly, cleaning, parts inspections, reassembly and testing andfinishing actions required to return the Electronic Amplifier to a likenew condition. 2. The list of applicable CLIN'sa. CLIN 0001 NSN: 5895-01-430-9208FG P/N sdf259-26DY2, The ElectronicAmplifier, Diplexer/Preamplifier item amplifies the low level signalsfrom the SATCOM antenna during receive and passes the transmitted RF tothe antenna in the transmit mode. It acts as the interface between theantenna and the high power amplifier.b. CLIN 0002 OVER AND ABOVE (TO BE NEGOTIATED) c. CLIN 0003 DATA (NOT SEPARATELY PRICED) 3. Required Delivery referencing 2 above,a. CLIN 0001: Delivery shall be 2 each every 90 days ARO/REPS untilorder is complete. (NOTE: The delivery schedule of 2 each every 90 days ARO/REPS alsoapplies to any option that may be exercised)b. As negotiatedc. Based on delivery of CLIN 0001 assets 4. If unit price exceeds $5,000.00 then UID requirements will apply. This will be a SOLE SOURCE three year requirements contract consistingof a base year and two one-year options is contemplated. OMBUDSMAN (AUG 2005) (An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concernsfrom offerors or potential offerors during the proposal developmentphase of this acquisition.) The purpose of the Ombudsman is not todiminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer,but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested,the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of theconcern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation ofproposals or in the source selection process.
