Description

Notice of Proposed Contract Action IAW FAR 12 and 13, RFP VA-259-12-R-0183 The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS), Grand Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center (GRJVAMC) Grand Junction, CO and the Service Area Organization (SAO) West Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) contemplate awarding a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity Contract for Urological Services for GRJVAMC under a Full and Open Competitive status. The proposed contract will be issued for commercial firm fixed price contract types. The period of performance for these contracts will be one year, with four additional, one-year option periods from date of award, which is estimated on June 01, 2012. This is a Special Notice for this solicitation due to the non-responsiveness of the previous solicitation under that of 100% Small Business set aside status (VA259-11-RP-0069). Therefore, this action is to convey that this Special Notice will be posted to FBO the same as this new Full and Open Competitive Status Solicitation (VA259-12-R-0183) for today March 01, 2012. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on best value to include past performance. Request for Proposal VA-259-12-R-0183 will be available for download today on March 01, 2012. No telephone and/or electronic offers and requests for this solicitation will be allowed. Offers are to be received at the SAO West NCO 19, RMAC 4100 E. Mississippi Ave., Suite 900, Glendale, CO 80246 no later than 4:00PM MST on March 30, 2012. The NAICS Code is 621111.
