The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Albany, GA, Contracts Department (S1922) intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract to Carl Zeiss (CAGE C5393) for the following service: CLIN 0001: Refurbishment of Rangefinder, Laser, NSN 1240-01-545-5913, P/N 1306115, Qty 1 each. FOB DESTINATION pricing is preferred. Ship to information: (SW3121) DDAG Albany, DDAG-T, TMO, MCLB BLDG 1221, DR 20. The NAICS code is 333314 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation number is assigned for administrative purposes only as preparation of proposal is not anticipated. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as commitment by the Government for any purpose. The Government will consider all responses from capable interested offerors received within 15 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this notice of proposed contract action. Such offers must be supported by information to enable the Government to evaluate an offerors capability to repair these items without the Government providing technical data. NO TECHNICAL DATA IS AVAILABLE. All documentation shall become the property of the Government. If no additional responses are received, a contract will be placed without further notice with Carl Zeiss.
