Description
This Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) announcement constitutes a SOURCES SOUGHT notice for the Department of the Air Force/Air Education and Training Command/902d Contracting Squadron at Randolph Air Force Base (RAFB) TX. RAFB has a future requirement for a (Electric Hydraulic Pump). Services will include (the addition of the pump to a MH-53 trainer to operate a cargo ramp and a hoist motor. Motor and pump must operate cargo ramp using current aircraft hydraulic cylinders and able to lift ramp without load. Motor and pump must also operate the hydraulic motor that operates the hoist located outside the right forward crew door. The government furnished equipment will be limited to hydraulic cylinders for the ramp and the controls and motor for the hoist. All other hydraulic lines and hoses will be provided by contractor. Both the hoist and the cargo ramp must be operational, preferably with the same pump; however, they do not need to function at the same time. A site visit will be scheduled upon request. A known manufacturer of the ‘VT’ Series AC Vertical Tank(Pump) Design is that of Taco Commercial Systems. The product specifications are VT10-3HP3-G3.0 3.0GPM System W/ACCS Small Power Unit and VT10-2HP3-G1.9 1.9GPM System W/ACESS Small Power Unit. The site visit and installation will take place at Lackland AFB TX. The requirement will be issued against the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code – 423610, and the related Small Business Standard – 100. The performance period shall start within 30 days after receipt of award. This notice is for announcement only and serves to provide interested parties an opportunity to respond to the agency’s requirements. It does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or Request for Quotation/Proposal (RFQ/RFP); nor does its issuance restrict the Government in its ultimate acquisition.
