- THIS IS A SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE BID PACKAGE PLEASE EMAIL PATTY GUSHWA AT gushwa.patty@jobcorps.org. ALL CORRESPONDENCE VIA EMAIL ONLY - NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Atterbury Job Corps Center and IndyPendence Job Corps Center is seeking proposals for a subcontract for our IndyPendence Job Corps Center Meal Program. Atterbury Job Corps Center is a 550 student residential training facility and IndyPendence Job Corps Center is a 100 student non- residential training facility. Atterbury and IndyPendence Job Corps Centers are a federally funded Educational and Vocational Training Program that provides services to students between the ages of sixteen (16) and twenty-four (24). Bidder's Instructions: The Atterbury Job Corps Center seeks to receive proposals from food service operators who have demonstrated potential for providing food service programs that maintain high standards of service and quality food products. The vendor will provide food services for students, staff and visitors. Proposals should be thorough and provide detailed monthly menus so that we may properly evaluate each Proposer's ability to provide the specified/proposed services. The successful bidder will be selected based upon a combination experience, qualifications and cost. Bidders are placed on notice that this is a subcontracting opportunity and a competitive process and cost is an important factor. Lowest overall bid does not constitute bid award. The successful bidder must comply with all Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses, be compliant under all related federal statutory requirements and regulations, and provide evidence of licenses/certificates/insurance as required for doing business in the State of Indiana. Companies designated as small business enterprises (e.g. small business, small disadvantaged, women-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned or service-disabled veteran owned) are preferred. Any package received without documents listed in the RFQ will not be considered for review. All interested parties should submit completed bid packet and a written response via email to gushwa.patty@jobcorps.org, by fax, 812-314-6290, or by USPS or other acceptable delivery methods, by 3:00 P.M. CST, Wednesday February 29, 2012.
