- Cardiology support is a service that MAY be added later, as per the Performance Work Statement. Regarding the potential workload for cardiology support: There are currently 12 active users on the cardiology system. That number could increase to 15 with the addition of second cardiologist scheduled to arrive later this year. Current annual workload for the Cardiology Department is 1100 echocardiograms, 1150 electrocardiograms, 350 cardiac monitors, 750 stress tests, and 10 TEE's. Those numbers could possible double with the with the arrival of the second.
