- Description
- Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision and other items and non-personal services necessary to design and construction a 38,361 square foot, two-story education Center at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. All exterior windows will improve energy efficiency and meet Force Protection construction requirements. The project shall be designed within the criteria prescribed in the plans and specifications. This building will include pre-wired administrative space for the center and five colleges, lecture classrooms, an auditorium equipped with computer LAN connectivity, wireless service, distances learning classrooms with tele-video satellite feeds, computer-science and engineering laboratories, testing rooms, student and administrative break-rooms, video conferencing classroom, storages, learning resource center and bathrooms. The design shall be LEED silver certified and may apply an option items as specified in the specifications to enhance the overall rating. The project includes demolition of existing education center.
