- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with The National Academy of Sciences Transportation Research Board to procure 59 registrations to participate in the 2012 Transportation Research Board National Conference on Transportation Asset Management in San Diego, CA on April 16-18, 2012. This conference is designed to focus on setting the direction of the organization, aligning it to support performance management, developing an asset management plan, and developing and using needed process improvements and tools. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The proposed action is for registrations which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $15,045. The anticipated award date is March 23, 2012.
