- Description
- The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (Corporation) plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a contractor to furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials and to remove and replace approximately 1,890 square feet of EPDM membrane roof and appurtenances at the Snell Lock Compressor Building and approximately 1,890 square feet of steel roof decking and EPDM membrane roofing and appurtenances at the Eisenhower Lock Compressor building, both in Massena, NY. The existing roofs each have a parapet wall on three sides and a drainage edge of the fourth. The existing EDPM membrane roofs have been damaged by wind and are in need of replacement along with flashings, coping, drip edge and appurtenances. The roof deck, although not damaged, will require replacement at the Eisenhower Lock location only. The new roofs shall have either 20 or 30 year full system warranties for winds up to 100 miles per hour. The RFQ and four (4) reference drawings will be released and uploaded on the FedbizOpps website on or about Wednesday, March 28, 2012 with a response date of Wednesday, May 2, 2012. The work is to be completed by Friday, June 15, 2012. This is a small business set-aside. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. All responsible bidders may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. Applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 with a size standard of $14.0M. Prospective bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for award. Please register with the CCR at www.ccr.gov. The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000
