Description

Industry feedback received during the Industry Day event held 5-6 March was extremely beneficial to the Government. The Government will post to FBO the unclassified charts presented during the general session and a list of Industry participants. Please submit all non-proprietary questions from the general session and one-on-one meetings as soon as possible to ensure the Government can consider inputs and publish appropriate responses. To ensure the Government can finalize the Final RFP, all Industry questions related to the Draft RFP must be submitted by 14 March 2012. During the MRBM T1/T2 Industry Day one on one sessions we discovered that Industry has a misconception regarding the use of the SR-19/SR-19 rocket motor configuration. We want to correct the misconception that the Government requires incorporation of the SR-19 rocket motor in proposals. Proposals using SR-19/SR-19 configuration will receive no special advantage in the procurement. The Government will make a best value selection based on the stated requirements of the RFP. The Government currently anticipates release of the RFP during early April, 2012. The Government plans to conduct a pre-proposal conference in Huntsville within two weeks of releasing the RFP.
