- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare SystemsCommand (SPAWAR), on behalf of the Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I), Communications Program Office (PMW/A 170) is seeking potential sources to provide systems engineering, production, manufacturing, integration, and testing of the Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP) Unit Level Variant (ULV) terminal and modems suites. The CBSP ULV equipment suites provide commercial satellite communications (COMSATCOM) connectivity capability to augment Navy shipboard military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) capabilities. Technical documentation pertaining to the CBSP Request For Information (RFI) that is designated Distribution Statement D will be made available on a separate, secured, access-controlled website. In order to request access to the secured website, contractors shall complete the "CBSP Bidder's Repository NDA" posted on the SPAWAR E-commerce website, and return the signed NDA to Kenneth Nickel at kenneth.nickel@navy.mil. Each company may request NESI access for up to two representatives. Each user is required to be a U.S. DoD contractor and have a valid DoD or ECA issued PKI certification to gain access to the website. Please see the e- commerce attachment entitled "CBSP ULV RFI" dated 14 March 2012 for a complete description of the process required for obtaining access.
