Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District anticipates awarding a FFP contract for a contractor to perform the below requirement to supply and deliver B Stone, per specification, by barges in accordance with the Statement of Work. Project: B-Stone Rock and Delivery at Third District. STATEMENT OF WORK: This requirement is for B stone Rock (Graduation Curve see attachment) and delivery of the rock to the revetment location known as the Third District (Mississippi River Mile 92.6). The project is located in South Louisiana on the Reach Mississippi River, about four (4) miles below the Greater New Orleans Bridge. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, material, supervision, transportation and any services to perform work in accordance with this statement of work. Specific delivery will provide exact delivery location after award. CONTRACTOR SHALL DELIVER ALL STONE ROCKS BY DECK BARGES. The contractor is required to stick the barges before they leave the Quarry and verify stickings with the Corps of Engineers personnel upon delivery. 1.Requirements QtyDescriptionUnitUnit CostTotal Cost 28000B StoneTon$$ 28000DeliveryTon$$ Total$$ 2.The Contractor will adhere to all OSHA and Corps Safety Manual, EM 385-1-1 Regulations. The period of performance is 30 days. Performance period will begin within 2 days of contract award. Operations may require the B stones to be delivered on different days. Construction Specifications: All rock barges are to be free from holes or damaged timberheads. The Corps of Engineers will fleet barges between rounds of barges. The Contractor is required to limit barges on site (maximum of 10 barges at any one time). The contractor shall be responsible for all transportation charges of barges. Contractor will be required to provide gradation curve of rock and quarry information to the contracting office or Corps of Engineers representative upon award of contract. This acquisition is an unrestricted procurement. The associated NAICS code is 212319 with a size of 500 personnel. All responsible sources may submit at quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit a quotation for each line item with unit cost and total cost. Contractor shall submit completed clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications, Commercial Items.
