- Description
- SYNOPSIS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office - South Central Regional Office (SCRO), plans to issue solicitation IFBP05081200001 for the construction of, to include but not limited to, replacement roofing. The successful contractor will provide roof demolition and installation for the complete replacement of the existing ballasted Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roofing system at both the multi-purpose and sleeping quarters buildings. The total area of roofing requiring replacement is approximately 130,500 SF. Replacement roofing systems shall include single ply membrane, insulation, vapor barriers, protection board, base and edge flashing, and equipment walkway pads. The performance period is 360 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials, labor and incidentals for the complete construction of the work located at the Federal Prison Camp, Forrest City, Arkansas. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The solicitation will available on or about April 10, 2012 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately May 24, 2012. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed soley through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
