- Description
- Provide materials and services necessary for On-Base Parking Paved Areas at U. S. Coast Guard Training Center (TRACEN) Cape May, New Jersey. Work of the Project includes all materials, labor, equipment, services, and all operations necessary for repaving various parking lots. Major work items include but are not limited to: Mill and Overlay of Existing Paved Surfaces; Full Depth Reconstruction of one Service Road; Concrete Curb & Gutter Installation; Concrete Walks and Pad Installation; Mobilization, demobilization and clean up; Supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, labor and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Solicitation HSCG47-12-B-3EFK06 The solicitation will be available on the web site on or about March 29, 2012. The approximate date for bid opening for Solicitation No. HSCG47-12-B-3EFK06 is May 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Norfolk, Virginia. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500.000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237310 and the small business size standard is $33.5 Million. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. (Status as a qualified small business concern is determined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and SBA will issue a certification to that affect in accordance with 13 CFR part 126) Offers that are not from qualified small business concerns shall not be considered and shall be rejected. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY BY INTERNET AT http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any prospective bidder interested in bidding on this solicitation must REGISTER at this web site and download plans and specifications. The official planholders list will be created from the internet registration and will be available from the website only. Amendments will be posted on the website for downloading. This will be the normal method of distributing amendments; therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to this solicitation. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Registration in the CCR database can be accomplished at the website http://www.ccr.gov. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
