- SOW Appendix C - Vehicle Master List Draft Statement of Work Market Research Questionnaire Full Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought Notice FA5613-12-Vehicle Parts Streamlined Ordering and Delivery of Automotive and Related Vehicle Parts and Accessories for Ramstein Air Base, Germany This Sources Sought notice is a synopsis posted by a government agency seeking possible sources for a requirement. This notice is neither a solicitation for work nor a Request for Proposal (RFP). Reference Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 7.3, Contractor versus Government Performance, and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76. The U.S. Air Force is seeking potential companies who have the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities required to provide automotive and related vehicle parts and accessories to repair and maintain approximately 1,600 vehicles and equipment managed by the 86th Vehicle Readiness Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Interested companies must have the following qualifications: - Ability to provide rebuilt, aftermarket, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and accessories that meet or exceed the quality of the part funished on the original piece of equipment. - Ability to provide routine orders to the shipper within 24 hours or the next business day of receiving an order. - Ability to provide Vehicle-Down-for-Parts (VDP) and priority orders to the shipper within 24 hours or the next business day of receiving an order. - Ability to provide an estimated delivery date for back ordered parts/items. - Responsibility for all commerical shipments to include costs associated with loss and damage. - Ability to track all shipments to final destination. The place of performance is Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The anticipated period of performance is 19 December 2012 through 18 December 2013, with the yearly option to extend the performance through 18 December 2017. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a RFQ or commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Please reference the attached DRAFT Statement of Work, Market Research Questionnaire, Sources Sought Notice, and Vehicle Master List for more information.
