Description
The purpose of this amendment is to include the statement of work as follows: Statement of Work: Tungsten Parts C.1 Scope This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the efforts required to machine the Government Furnished Material (GFM) tungsten blanks for the Army Research Lab (ARL). C.2 Objective The Contractor shall receive tungsten blanks manufactured from 93% tungsten with a nickel-iron matrix provided as GFM, machine these pieces based on specifications and tolerances noted in provided technical drawings, and return the completed products to the ARL at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Building 434, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. C.3 Requirements C.3.1 The Government will ship all tungsten blanks to the Contractor no later than two (2) weeks from contract award date. C.3.2 The Contractor shall confirm receipt of all tungsten blanks with the Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR) no later than two (2) days from receipt of all GFM. C.3.2 The Contractor shall machine forty (40) of the assemblies to the specifications and tolerances as noted in drawing RT-2012020-1 (dated 20 JAN 2012). C.3.3 The Contractor shall machine 160 of the parts to the specifications and tolerances as noted on page one of drawing SR-2012030-1 (dated 20 JAN 2012). C.3.4 The Contractor shall machine twenty (20) of the parts to the specifications and tolerances as noted on page two of drawing SR-2012030-1 (dated 20 JAN 2012). C.3.5 The Contractor shall complete machining of at least twenty (20) GFM tungsten assemblies (per drawing RT-2012020-1) and ship to ARL, 4600 Deer Creek Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 no later than ninety (90) days from receipt of GFM tungsten blanks from the Government. The machined items will be inspected by the COR upon receipt to confirm machined items are satisfactory and completed to specifications defined by the Government. C.3.6 The Contractor shall complete machining of the twenty (20) remaining GFM tungsten assemblies (per drawing RT-2012020-1) and ship to ARL, 4600 Deer Creek Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 no later than 180 days from receipt of GFM tungsten blanks from the Government. The machined items will be inspected by the COR upon receipt to confirm machined items are satisfactory and completed to specifications defined by the Government. C.3.7 The Contractor shall package all GFM tungsten assemblies (per drawing RT-2012020-1) for shipment and mark all shipping containers as "Inert Metal Parts." C.3.8 The Contractor shall complete machining of at least eighty (80) GFM tungsten parts (per drawing SR-2012030-1, page 1) and ten (10) GFM tungsten parts (per drawing SR-2012030-1, page 2) and ship to ARL, 4600 Deer Creek Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 no later than ninety (90) days from receipt of GFM tungsten parts from the Government. The machined items will be inspected by the COR upon receipt to confirm machined items are satisfactory and completed to specifications defined by the Government. C.3.9 The Contractor shall complete machining of all remaining GFM tungsten parts (per drawing RT-2012020-1) and ship to ARL, 4600 Deer Creek Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 no later than 180 days from receipt of parts from the Government. The machined items will be inspected by the COR upon receipt to confirm machined items are satisfactory and completed to specifications defined by the Government. C.3.10 The Contractor shall package all GFM tungsten parts (per drawing SR-2012030-1) for shipment and mark all shipping containers as "Inert Metal Parts." C.4 Distribution Statements C.4.1 The statement of work is Distribution Statement A and is approved for public release. C.4.2 The Drawings are Distribution Statement D and are authorized to US Department of Defense and their contractors (Critical Technology) (Jan 2012) other request for this document shall be referred to the COR.
