- DESCRIPTION The United States Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Rensselaer County in the city Troy, NY that will be expiring. The Government is in leasing approximately 3,286 contiguous rentable square feet of office and related space. The rentable space must yield a minimum of 2,258 ANSI/BOMA Office area square feet (OASF) of first class, high quality contiguous office space. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost-benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. DELINEATED AREA West: 6th Ave North: Hoosick Street South: Ferry – to Congress Street – to Route 2 East: Route 278, Town of Brunswick A detailed map of the delineated area boundaries is available by contacting the individual listed below. REQUIREMENT - 10 year term OTHER REQUIREMENTS - 25 on-site paved surface parking spaces - Preference will be given to first floor space - Space must be contiguous - Specific Information Technology requirements OCCUPANCY Occupancy is required by 10/1/2012. Expression of interest must be received by the contact no later than 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. on March 26, 2012 and should include the following information: - Building name, address and location of the available space - Rentable square feet available and expected full service rental rate - ANSI/BOMA Office area square feet, to be offered and expected rental rate per OASF, fully serviced.
