- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NWSC) Crane has a requirement for a quantity of 132 Connectors. This is a sole source requirement. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, it has been determined that only Teledyne Instruments/D.G. O ™Brien, Inc., 1 Chase Park, Seabrook, NH 03874-4191 is the only qualified source for the Plug Kit Connectors. The Connectors are manufactured in accordance with a Distribution C Statement of Work (SOW) and Distribution C Drawings. NOTE: Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/contractors.aspx. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-12-T-0042 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
