- The work will consist of crushing and screening an existing government stockpile of salvaged gravel and asphalt estimated at 2000 - 3000 tons for re-use as gravel road surfacing and sub-base material. The contractor will be responsible for placing the re-crushed material on designated project roads to the approximate width of the existing road and to a depth of approximately 4 inches. Fines and dirt will be hauled to a designated disposal area.
