Description
Shuttle Service Solicitation Synopsis This is a solicitation synopsis. This solicitation will be set-aside for 8(a) Businesses. The work needed will be as follows. The National Guard Bureau (NGB) is soliciting proposals from Offerors. The Government intends to award to a single (ONE) 8(a) Offeror whose proposal provides the BEST VALUE to the Government based upon a comprehensive assessment of the evaluation factors. The period of performance for this service contract will be a base period of 12 months from date of award with FOUR, 12-month-option period(s), for a total performance period of up to FIVE years Solicitation falls under Classification Code: V-Transportation, travel & relocation services under NAICS Code: 485 Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation/ 485113 - Bus and Other Motor Vehicle Transit Systems. The successful contractor will provide scheduled Personnel Bus Transit Service via multi seat motorized vehicles to AHS. The successful contractor may be requested by work order to provide specific one time transportation support services. These services are in addition to the work of the scheduled Personnel Bus Transit Service and will be done by specific work order and scheduled cost agreed to by the Contracting Officer. The successful Offeror must be fully operational on the first day of the contract. The Contractor must be certified by the Department of Defense (DoD), and the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) Department of Defense Approved Bus, Van, & Limo Carriers. The Contractor must be current with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation, equipment registrations and inspections for carrying passengers. The Contractor must be registered with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. Contractor personnel must be able to successfully clear a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI). Contractor shall have current Commonwealth of Virginia safety inspections and registration appropriate for passenger carrying vehicles.
