- This is a special notice for informational purposes only. The 23rd Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole source award to C.C. Distributors, Inc. for the purpose of issuing a bridge contract to perform COCESS operations for a period of 2 months with possible extensions (NTE total contract period of 6 months) until solicitation FA4830-10-R-0001 can be awarded. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). A post-award notice will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) identifying the 23rd Contracting Squadron's Justification and Approval of this sole source procurement to C.C. Distributors, Inc. bridge contract to continue COCESS operations. This is NOT a request for Proposal and does NOT constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this Special Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The basic requirements for this equipment are as follows: An IDIQ contract will provide a simplified method for authorized personnel to purchase quality materials, tools, and equipment with minimal order processing effort and delivery times, and also provide immediate purchase and on-time delivery at a fair and reasonable price utilizing a user friendly, state-of-the-art, online ordering and purchasing system. This contract will allow the customer four methods of acquiring products: 1) to purchase over-the-counter store stock, 2) to purchase directly online through the contractor for items not available for direct purchase from the on-base store or through the online system, such as specialized and custom made items, and 4) government purchase order.
