- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of the solicitation to Renovate 920 ASTS Administration Facility, Bldg.1368 (Project Number: SXHT08-1104). Solicitation Number FA2521-12-B-0001 will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued in accordance with FAR SubPart 5.204. IFB will be available in early Apr, 2012 with bid closing 30 days after IFB release date. The performance period for this project will be 210 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. Brief description of work: This requirement consists of interior work on floors, walls and ceilings; exterior construction of a sidewalk, equipment pads and a new entrance and the installation of a fire suppression system and an HVAC system. NAICS Code: 236220 Classification Code: Z139 Size Standard: $33.5M Construction magnitude: $500,000 - $1,000,000 This solicitation is being offered to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms; all others will be deemed non responsive. Contract award will be based on Sealed Bid - FAR Part 14. A Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder (FAR 9.104-1) whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, is responsive to the terms of the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: THIS PROJECT IS AFRC PHASE II (equivalent to STRADDLE B); THEREFORE, FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER A CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER BID OPENING/IFB CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATION TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT.
