Description
The solicitation will be available at: htttp://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about March 30th, 2012.. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED, AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park intends to issue a solicitation for the following road striping:Overall approx. 17.5 miles of restriping yellow solid and broken yellow lines.Restriping approx. 1225 LF of stop bars and crosswalks along the same road. Parking lots restriping including approx 15240 LF of 4" white lines, 50 LF of 4" yellow lines, 4550 LF of 8" yellow line, 1400 LF of painted yellow curb, 120 SF white crosswalks, 120 SF of 18" white stop bars, 30 white directional arrows, 18 ADA symbols, 10 each 8" yellow employee stencil, 6 each 18" yellow no parking stencil, 2 each 18" yellow load zone no parking stencil, 1 each 18" yellow official vehicle only and 20 each8" white motorcycle stencil. All work will be performed under a single firm-fixed price contract. Weather conditions will be a determining factor in deciding the period of performance and the start date.The project completion goal is no later than June 20th, 2012. In accordance with FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this contract is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This solicitation is intended to be a "Best Value" procurement with past experience to be equal to price in the selection of a succesful offeror. Award may be made to a firm other than that offering the lowest price. Any interested firm shall be able to provide a list of previous jobs showing experience in completion of the work described above. No pre-bid site visit will be held for this project. Responses shall be due approximately 30 days following issuance of the solicitation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237310 and the business size is $33,500,000.00. This procurement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Award will be made to the most responsive, responsible firm. The project will be completed in and administered by Mount Rainier National Park.
