- This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4710. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about "27 March 12" at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for one 1/G drawing item. This signifies that the Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil. This AMSC code implies that parts procured under this NSN are candidates for full and open competition. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB and Inspection/Acceptance Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains a 100% option which may be exercised at time of award or after award during the period of the contract delivery schedule minis fourteen days. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted with full and open competition.
