- PLEASE NOTE THE DUE DATE REFLECTED WITH THIS NOTICE IS NOT THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE, BUT USED FOR ARCHIVE PURPOSES. THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE WILL BE IDENTIFIED IN THE SOLICITATION. This pre-solicitation notice is for Food Catering Services, Fort Devens, MA. The award will be a fixed price Requirements contract for a one-year base period and two one-year option periods. Target start date is 1 Jun 12. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide food catering services to supported organizations, military units, and activities training at/located at Fort Devens, MA. Preparation of meals at the Government facility is not authorized. However, meals will be served from the government dining facility. Activities include, but are not limited to: Furnish and maintain cleaning supplies; Furnish and maintain an inventory of expendable supplies including paper ware, cups, flatware, and napkins; Plan a 21-day cycle master menu for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner to meet identified minimum menu requirements; Provide and serve meals and maintain self-service items, ice and beverages during designated meal periods; Provide single service disposable items; dinnerware, utensils and trays to diners; Set up, display food, and break down serving lines; Maintain Sanitation Training Certificates and Records; Prepare, maintain and clean dining areas; Clean contractor owned food service equipment and utensils utilized; and clean and maintain facility sanitation in accordance with the Performance Work Statement, Performance Requirements Summary, and Attachments. This is a commercial acquisition. This acquisition is a 100 percent small business set aside. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 722310, Food Service Contractors, size standard of $35.5 Million. Prospective contractors must be registered on Central Contractor Register (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA). The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 5 Apr 12 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered as a small business in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS.
