- The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC, intends to award a sole source modification under existing contract N00024-09-D-5212 with Global Technical Systems (GTS), 784 Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach, Virginia, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 to increase the contract ceiling by $55,717,394. The contract is for the Common Processing System (CPS) and was competitively awarded on March 4, 2009. There is no change to the contract ™s period of performance. This modification includes contract ceiling increase for CPS units, Advanced COTS Enclosures (ACE), and technical support services for development and integration necessitated by obsolescence or other configuration changes. Award is planned for the 3rd quarter FY12. Notice: All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This proposed contract action is not a request for competitive proposals; however, persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this synopsis or by submitting a proposal. Responses to this notice must be e-mailed to khanh.p.pham@navy.mil and received by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on April 12, 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
