- SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION GENERAL INFORMATION Document Type: Special Notice Solicitation Number: FA4613-12-R-1002 Contract Number: FA4613-12-C-1003 Posted Date: 29 MARCH 2012 Response Date: 13 APRIL 2012 Classification Code: D302 Set-Aside: N/A NAICS Code: 541511 DESCRIPTION This is a special notice of intent to award sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 12.203 and FAR 13.5 with consideration given to FAR 5.202(a)(13) as supplemented to Kepler Research, Inc to provide a follow-on contract for commercial software sustainment and support for the 20th Air Force/AFGSC. Specialized and secure software programming and maintenance are included in the requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541511. The size standard for this NAICS code is $25,000,000.00. This service will be provided to F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Minot Air Force Base, and Malmstrom Air Force Base. The proposed action is for servicess for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only; it is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
