- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The United States Property & Fiscal Office for New Jersey (USPFO-NJ)intends to issue a sole source contract to Tesla Industries Inc. for the acquisition of a Battery Power Supply, PN: TI3000GPU-24, Quantity: 1 each and a Universal Rescue Hoist Control Cable, PN: TI2006-308, Quantity 1 each. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency's needs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due on or before 09 April 2012 by email at john.simms@us.army.mil
