Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), Washington, DC intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a contractor to conduct surveys at state owned and operated veterans ™ homes to monitor compliance with VA standards. The survey team will be comprised of contracted surveyors who will conduct the clinical and life safety portions of the survey and VA Medical Center of Jurisdiction surveyors will conduct the administrative and fiscal portions of surveys. The Contractor shall conduct annual, recognition, for cause and follow-up surveys for the state veterans ™ home program. The survey process shall apply VA standards utilizing the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service process. The requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 541611. Size standards is $7.M. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. The solicitation packages will be available on or before April 23, 2012, and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web page (http://www/fedbizopps.gov).
