- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W911W4-12-T-0064 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-57. This competitive acquisition will be for full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 611430. The solicitation and supplementary documents are attached. The period of performance shall be 1 June 2012 through 30 September 2012. Inspection and acceptance is FOB destination. Provisions and clauses that pertain to this requirement are in the attached solicitation. The Government plans on award of a single contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements as stated in this synopsis/solicitation. Proposals are due 23 April 2012, 10:00 A.M. EST. Responses/offers shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Randy Dreyer at Randy.Dreyer@us.army.mil. Requests for clarification concerning this RFP are due no later than 9 April 2012, 1:00 P.M. EST to the Contracting Officer. Questions received after this timeframe may not be included in the Government's response. Any amendment(s) issued to this RFP will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the Offeror's responsibility to visit this website for amendments on this synopsis/solicitation.
