Description: The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of Antifouling painting Four (4) Harbor Security Metal Shark Boats and naval Submarine Base New London, Groton CT 06340 in accordance with the Performance Based Work Statement. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 15, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-12-T-G061. The NAICS code is 238320 - Painting, and the small business standard is $14.00 Mil. This is a total small business competitive action. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the contract specialist via e-mail ONLY. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Lack of registration in the central contractor registration (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov) will make a vendor ineligible for award.
