Description

This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information only. This is not a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the government in any contract award. The U.S. Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, is conducting preliminary research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to provide up to 100 units of rental clothing for Arc Flash Protection on a weekly basis for a one year base period plus an additional option year to: U.S. CORPS OF ENGINEERS HARTWELL POWER PLANT 6961 ANDERSON HIGHWAY HARTWELL, GA 30643 Vendor is to be a company normally in the business of supplying rental flame resistant clothing (FR) and can properly launder and repair said clothing as needed. Weekly laundering and normal wear and tear repair is to be included in the rental agreement. Units will be washed every week and repaired as required. For the purpose of this purchase order a unit of Arc Flash Clothing should meet the following specifications. Specification Data Minimum arc flash rating of 8 CAL/CM2 as defined by NFPE 70E Tecasafe category 2 fabric Name on inside of clothing only All interested firms with 812332 as an approved NAICS code have until 6 April 2012 at 11:59am to submit the following information: Name & Address of your Firm Point of Contact (name/phone/email) Duns number and Cage Code Current CCR Business Size, to include designation as HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Business, and large business.
