Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Topaz Technologies, 1421 W. Wells Branch Parkway, Pflugerville, TX 78660, for VMS Software License Fees; Mobile Vet Software Maintenance Fees; and Mobile Census Software Maintenance Fees. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements because this is the only service that can meet the requirements for license and maintenance fees because anyone other than Topaz Technologies authorized personnel attempting to repair or service the equipment would exclude Topaz Technologies from their obligations. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
