- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, Assistant Project Manager, Medical Simulation, has a base requirement for 91 each Virtual Patient System (VPS) Trauma Moulage Kits with options to procure up to an additional 241 each VPS Trauma Moulage Kits. The Statement of Work document and its Appendices attached to the SF 1449 defines the requirement for the VPS Trauma Moulage Kits under this solicitation. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses under NAICS code 326299 - All other rubber product manufacturing. The applicable size standard is 500 employees. UPDATE: 4 April 2012: The purpose of this notice is to update synopsis and provide the Government responses to Industry Questions. UPDATE: 6 April 2012: The purpose of this notice is to provide further clarification to number nine of the Government Responses to Industry Questions and to provide an updated SOW with minor changes in Appendix A and Appendix B.
