Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contract Office 22 has a requirement for Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support training. Training shall be held either onsite at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in Loma Linda, CA, or offsite at the contractor's facility. The contractor's facility shall be an AHA accredited training center convenient to VA Loma Linda participants, and its instructors shall be AHA certified. Courses shall follow the American Heart Association Instructor Guide, Student Manual and related training activities (e.g., skills tests). This procurement will be competed as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and responses will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The VA anticipates award of multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements for a base year with the option to exercise four additional one-year option periods. Responses shall be submitted by mail or delivery service to Evelyn McKenna, VA Network Contracting Office 22, 4811 Airport Plaza Drive, Suite 600, Long Beach, CA 90815. Emailed or faxed responses will not be accepted. The NAICS code is 611430, size standard $7M. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about April 16, 2012.
