SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE 09 APRIL 2012 MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT FOR VIDEO TELECONFERENCE SYSTEMS, AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND WASHINGTON AREA OF RESPONSIBLITY Naval Facilities Engineering Command Washington Navy Yard (NAVFAC Washington) provides facilities engineering support (Products and Services) to the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Government Agencies while enabling energy security and environmental stewardship. NAVFAC Washington is headquartered at the Washington Navy Yard, Building 212. NAVFAC Washington is seeking information from companies who can provide full service VTC support including hardware and software/programming maintenance, full system installation for new rooms, and system equipment and coding upgrades. The contract will provide Break Fix Services for all current and future VTC equipment, including remote and onsite service calls, as well as providing proposals for future upgrades of current equipment and new VTC rooms. The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, supplies, vehicles, and equipment required to perform services including but not limited to perform all break fix services and equipment installation/removal requests. The contractor will perform quarterly analysis of hardware integrity and provide NAVFAC with recommended remediation, as well as recommended improvements based on emerging technologies. VTC systems will use a standardized source code in all of the rooms and existing equipment will need to be re-coded. The work under this contract will be performed predominately in the Navy activities in support of the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), within the National Capital Region including but not limited to: The Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC; National Naval Medical Center (NNMC), Bethesda, MD; Naval Support Facility (NSF) Anacostia, Washington, DC; NSF Naval Observatory, Washington, DC; NSF Suitland, MD; NSF Arlington, VA; Washington Headquarters Services à ‚¬ œ Pentagon, VA; NSF Carderock, MD; Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD: NSF Indian Head, MD; NSF Dahlgren, VA; NSF Stump Neck, MD; NSF Webster Field, MD; NSF Solomon's, MD; and NSA Annapolis, MD. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code for this project is 811213 with a corresponding size standard of 10.0 million. It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package, no more than 10 pages in length including 3 or more projects attachments, resumes, charts, etc. (single-spaced, 12-point font minimum) that clearly details the firm's ability to perform the aspects of this notice described above. The package must include the following: (1) Relevant Experience to include experience in performing efforts of similar size, scope and complexity within the last three years, including contract number, indication whether a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number; and a brief description of how the contract(s) referenced relate(s) to the technical services described herein including the equipment used to perform the work; and (2) Company Profile to include certifications, number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE code, and a statement regarding small business designation and status. All Small Businesses are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. Contractors are reminded that THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified small business sources capable of performing the described work. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall not constitute responses to solicitation, which is not currently available. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Sources Sought Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. The information received will be utilized to assist in formulating the acquisition. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The deadline for receipt of this capabilities statement package is 19 April 2012 at 14:00.
