The sole source determination is based on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Research (OAR) requirement for the purchase of a gas-phase ammonia analyzer in rack mount configuration with a solid state hard drive for the allotted space and weight installation in a pressurized turboprop research aircraft. Specifications: •Precision (1σ) of 1 ppb or less for a 5 second measurement •Response time of less than 30 seconds for a 90% to 10% fall from 3 ppm to 0 ppm and 30 seconds for a 10% to 90% rise from 0 ppm to 3 ppm •Operates at sample pressures between 420 and 1000 Torr •Available in a 19 in. rack mount chassis no more than 4U (7 in.) high •Rack mount analyzer weighs 50 lbs. or less •Available with a solid state hard drive •The analyzer software reports NH3 concentrations in real-time •Customer changeable external filter for routine maintenance •Sample volume of 35 ml or less for fast gas sample throughput and minimal memory effects •Delivery date no later than June 15, 2012.
