- The Air Force Flight Test Center, AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base, California is posting this Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. This sources sought notice is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to issue a solicitation or to ultimately award a contract on the basis of this sources sought notice or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Responses to the sources sought notice will not serve as proposals, bids or offers which could be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. AFFTC is requesting information from interested parties capable of providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide comprehensive sustainment services for the Callware Callegra 72 port, 2 servers, Voicemail System at Edwards AFB CA and to ensure reliable operations on a 24x7 coverage basis. Support will also include technical and assistance support with service issues, depot level logistical support in equipment sourcing and replacement, system configuration management, and program management. As part of the overall sustainment and support of the Edwards VMX, the contractor shall provide technical support services, software support, and hardware replacement for failed components. The contractor shall provide technical support and maintenance services necessary to ensure active management, reliable operations, and rapid restoration of all covered equipment. These technical support services shall include Tier II (with dispatch) through Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) level support as required based on the need to achieve problem resolution. All technical support shall be provided by OEM-certified technical personnel fluent in the English language. If the Contractor is alerted to a system/component degradation or failure, the Contractor shall provide immediate support to the operational user to identify, troubleshoot, and remedy the problem. The Contractor shall execute all hardware repair actions necessary to return the affected system to full operational capability to include issuing replacement hardware. Interested parties shall respond by providing a summary of company information, including organization name, address, and a description of facilities, personnel, and past experience. Responding sources shall also provide a point of contract, phone number, fax number, email address, business size, taxpayer identification numbers, DUNS number and CAGE Code. All responding sources must submit their response to this sources Sought Notice no later than 4:30pm Pacific Standard time, Apr 30, 2012 to 95 CS/SCXPC. Submit responses by Electronic Mail only. QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS NOTICE WILL NOT BE ANSWERED BY TELEPHONE. Note: Any information received in response to this sources sought notice is voluntary and becomes the property of the US Government upon receipt. The respondents will not be notified of the results of information gathered in response to this sources sought notice. The Government will not pay for information requested or compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
